MELT Fascia Techniques

During Lockdown in 2020. So much changed for us as an organisation. Challenges and opportunities. We took our training online as did many other professionals. I had booked my ticket to the UK to train with New York Times best selling author of The Melt Method, Sue Hitzmann. Unfortunately, I did not get to train in person, but wow did Sue bring home her online training. It was better as we ended up with a repository of videos and information we could access at any time. I have done the same for my training groups as we are a hybrid of in person and online, so the teaching is available long after training is complete.

This for me was such an exciting training as I learnt neuro-fascia safety techniques. Perfect for our clients with deeply frozen or disconnected nervous systems. Safety needs to be introduced slowly especially where clients have experienced early childhood trauma and regulation is not learnt systemically due to survival responses.

MELT is a wonderful way of introducing safety through physical fascia techniques using a patented Nervous System Roller (my description of this incredible tool) The MELT rollers are soft, yet firm and nothing like the rollers you get at sports shops. They hug the spine and invite the fascia to literally MELT, soften and reconnect the body to the brain. This brings in regulation.

As a trainee and client of mine, you will learn to do these processes for your self such as 3D Breathing and Body focus, learning how your body should be positioned on the floor and where to identify stuck stress.
