TRE can be experienced in a safe one on one session with a facilitator either in person or online. Our online protocols involve a full consultation prior to sessions and self-regulation is explained and practiced. Once your facilitator has gone through the medical history and indemnity form with you, the session will begin.

The TRE process uses a neurogenic tremor to release tension from the bodyās fascial system. In order to initiate this tremor, the brain needs to register safety. Cognitively we may feel safe and out of our events, but the amygdala/reactive brain that controls how we respond to stress and trauma, may still register we have not survived the event. As trauma is created in the body as an autonomic response, we cannot think our way out of danger.
We use a combination of stretching and fatiguing exercises to achieve a signal of safety to the brain (please read more about What is TRE) You will be required to wear comfortable clothing that you can easily stretch in. The first session on average is 1.5hrs and follow up sessions are 1hr once a week. The time between sessions may vary depending on your response and progress. TRE is a process, and each person is different.
