Wellness in the corporate environment has traditionally been focused on psychological intervention such as counselling. Over the years it has started to branch out into more body-based modalities such as massage and yoga. More recently we have seen the inclusion of online exercise sessions where you can join as and when you want. There is a gradual change from first aid trauma and stress approaches to preventative care.
We will always need in the moment assistance for events that happen to us, and we also need to consider working towards a more resilient response to trauma. The Cognitive and Body approach is covered but the Nervous System methods are new to Wellness in business mainly because they are not well understood.
Corporate Process
Self-Regulation and Self Awareness sessions are run in groups of up to 30 people online followed by a 6 week (once a week) practical session of TRE®. These groups are facilitated and are smaller groups (either in person or online) for better impact. Each employee will leave with the knowledge and experience to use TRE® safely for themselves at home providing ongoing support of their nervous system. Restoring an adapted response to trauma and stress is key to feeling better and recovering from stress. This process is supported with video tutorials released during the 6 weeks.
