Haley helped me to alleviate my sciatic pain in December 2020, I was so intrigued that TRE could have such an impact that I asked Haley if I could join the training group in March 2021. Although I’m based in London and Haley runs training from Johannesburg she accommodated my request by running an in person and Zoom training simultaneously. I felt part of the group from the very first training session and was again amazed at how easy it was to learn online. Haley made herself available along my own journey (time differences never seem to be a hurdle). She used technology to great effect, a voice note here and a video call there, which has enabled me to come through all the training so far, feeling as if I were in the room with all the other trainees.

I think Haley’s desire to ensure each trainee is well equipped to facilitate TRE in the best possible way, really comes through in her tireless dedication to each one of us. Haley’s breadth of knowledge about the nervous system in general and the TRE process in particular is very impressive. I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to learn with Haley.

Attending Haley’s TRE training has been an incredible and enlightening experience. Before enrolling in the course, I had no idea how TRE worked, but I was amazed at how much of a difference it made in a short period. Haley presented a well-structured TRE training program in a relaxed, comfortable environment. She used easily to understand language, and her warm, empathetic nature draws you in immediately. She provided good support throughout the training (and afterward!) when dealing with challenging cases. The monthly supervision sessions allowed us to practice what we learned before mastering the next concept. Haley ensured we had good examples of both theoretical and practical aspects required to ensure adequate TRE facilitation that we could use when working with clients. I am grateful that she shared all her passion, experience, and extensive knowledge with us! I thoroughly enjoyed the training and learned a lot!

Tre® trauma/tension releasing exercises

TRE can be experienced in a safe one on one session with a facilitator either in person or online. Our online protocols involve a full consultation prior to sessions and self-regulation is explained and practiced. Once your facilitator has gone through the medical history and indemnity form with you, the session will begin.

ABOUT DR DAVID BERCELI

I have had the privilege of training with and assisting Dr Berceli on trainings in South Africa.

David Berceli, Ph.D. is an international expert in the areas of trauma intervention and conflict resolution. He is the creator of Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE).  This revolutionary technique is designed to help release the deep tension created in the body during a traumatic experience or through chronic stress.  He is also the founder and CEO of Trauma Recovery Services.

Dave has spent two decades living and working in nine countries providing trauma relief workshops and designing recovery programs for international organizations around the world.  He has lived and worked extensively in Israel/Palestine, Sudan, Uganda, Kenya, Yemen, Egypt, and Lebanon. He is fluent in English and Arabic. 

 

David is unique in that he holds a solid academic and experiential grounding in psychotherapy and therapeutic bodywork. He integrates that with a keen understanding of the intertwining dynamics of religion and ethnic customs.  This combination has allowed him to develop unique and specific processes that enable people from all parts of the world manage and move beyond personal trauma as well as bring healing and reconciliation between diverse groups.
